Pink Martini is a musical group described as a ‘little orchestra”. It was formed in 1994 by pianist Thomas Lauderdale in Portland, Oregon.  The lead vocalist and principal songwriter for Pink Martini is China Forbes. Storm Large appeared as a vocalist with Pink Martini in 2010-2011 while China Forbes recovered from vocal cord surgery. The group, featuring 10-12 musicians, draws inspiration from music from all over the world and crosses genres such as classical, jazz and old-fashioned pop. Their debut album was a phenomenal success which led them to perform in numerous concert stages with symphony orchestras all over the world.
